How can you Help?

Coming this March I plan to hike from the very southern tip of Israel just south of Eilat to the northern most tip, the top of Mt Hermon. It is a challenging 950 km hike through the desert, along beaches, over mountains, past cities, and more. During this hike I hope to raise money for “All For The Kids“, a charity to help needy children where 100% of each donation goes to the kids, hence the name, all for the kids. There are several events lined up throughout the hike in order to raise money, such as a solidarity Shabbat in Sedrot where students will be staying with families.

In addition to raising money for this charity, I will be collecting data to form a comprehensive website pertaining to hiking in Israel. As a professional guide here in Israel, and as a student Torah, I will be giving  insight into the land and its history. I will also supply information about getting to the trail, what to bring, first aid, and general planning.

During the hike I will be maintaining a blog with pictures and videos. For this we will need a lightweight laptop, video camera, and solar panels for hikers. Other expenses include hiking equipment, a support car for emergencies and medical help and food for the three month hike.
