DAY ONE

Today Dudi and I met the hippies. Thats right hippies. Who woulda thunk but the hippies are doing Israel! There must be about 50-60 of them here camping out with us to hike the trail. Amazing. And it all came as a big surprise, and this just after Dudi told me he was going to hike with me at least for the first week, but i think he will continue on. So we are camped out at the trail head and head out tomorrow morning at the crack of dizzle. No pictures today, but tomorrow for sure. A big shout out and with tons of love to my parents and my dad’s wife Sandy who helped make this all possible. To my brother his family and everyone who made a donation to me or the all for the kids foundation. If you havent already, sign up for the RSS at the top of the page, subscribe to the e-mail and everytime we make an update you will be informed. We will try as often as posssibe. Day 1 What an incredible day. We woke up about 6 am to Daven, right after wrappin tefillin it started to rain. It kinda sucked but the dessert really needs it so we were thankful. We set out hiking at 9 after the group of 60 sat down to eat breakfast. I don’t know how many of you know rainbow gatherings are, I didn’t but this is really an amazing thing. We hiked about 15 km mostly uphill. The hippies as I like to refer to them as had a vehicle that took everyones belongings to the nightcamp, Dudi and I took our bags though, we like the challenge, and a chalenge it was. I filmed some really beautiful places. This has been an incredible day with evening filled with music discussion and laughter. We live in an amazing world. There is no power, and my phone is dead already and who knows when the computer will go. I hope we pass a place that will have an outlet I can refuel on. But everuthing is great, safe and unbelievablly joyfull. These are the best mitzvahs I ever gone done did.
